Kcell JSC provides mobile voice services, short message services, additional services (VAS), such as multimedia messaging, access to mobile content, as well as data services, including access to the Internet. The company is represented on the market by two brands: Kcell, whose target audience is corporate clients (including government agencies) and Activ, which is aimed at mass market subscribers. The company provides services through its extensive high-quality mobile communications network, which covers almost the entire territory of Kazakhstan.

In December 2012, the company successfully completed the placement of GDR (Global Depository Receipts) on the London Stock Exchange and common shares on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. The price was set at $ 10.50 per GDR and 1,578.68 tenge per share, with one GDR corresponding to one share. The offering included the sale of shares in the amount of 50 million shares, corresponding to a 25% stake in Kcell.

Kcell JSC within the framework of agreements with the “Otandastar” Foundation on the Contact Center project provides an opportunity for mobile network subscribers to make free calls to 1404 with a call forwarding to 8 800 080 1404, 93 14 04 thereby participating in the implementation of a socially significant project support for returnees and compatriots living abroad.
